At Clubhouse we offer a wide range of wellbeing activities, groups, resources, advice and support.
The aim is to improve people's sense of wellbeing both physically and mentally by:
- Providing specialist one to one advice on smoking cessation, healthy eating, weight management, etc.
- Running taster sessions and groups , eg Tai Chi
- Providing information and resources
- Supporting members to access resources in the community
- Offering help towards the financial costs of joining a gym, weght loss club or exercise class
Groups that are currently ongoing include :
Gardening Group
Every Monday morning between 10am-12pm we run a free gardening session in the Clubhouse garden including working in our mini allotment.
Open Art Group
Tuesday mornings 10am-12pm at the Clubhouse. This group is free and open to all our members who would like to come along and get creative.
Cooking Group
Thursday mornings at the Clubhouse 10.30am-12.30pm. Each week we cook a simple healthy meal . It costs up to £1.50 per session and you get to eat your meal with the group or take it home.
One to One Wellbeing Advice Sessions
Thursdays mornings between 10.15am-1pm by appointment only. Support and advice on any wellbeing issue, such as healthy eating, exercise, weight loss etc.
Cycle Group
During the summer months we enjoy gentle cycle rides in the local area. This group is free and suitable for beginners. We provide all bicycles and equipment and also carry out maintenance sessions. This takes place from 1.30pm on some Thursdays (please note that this isn't a weekly group)
Complementary Therapy Sessions (sponsored by Dancer Fund - Community Foundation for Surrey)
We have appointments on Friday mornings for Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Back, Neck and Shoulder Massage. Costs range between £2.00 - £4.50

Short Walks
On Friday afternoons at 2.30pm we close Clubhouse and go for a gentle walk in the local area. This walk is suitable for everyone no matter how fit or mobile. (please note on the 1st Friday of every month we swap walking for a local cafe trip)
