eDCC Computer Training

We started running eDCC Open Computer sessions at the Clubhouse in May 2006. EDCC stands for eDigital Competence Certificate.

eDigital Competence Certificate

The courses are a way of achieving OCR (Oxford, Cambridge and RSA examination board) accredited certificates which are recognised throughout

the UK.

We offer varies courses which include beginners, intermediate and advanced levels in:

Word Processing
Desktop Publishing

Excel
E-mail
Internet
Computer Arts

The sessions are run on a friendly one to one basis and are available on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons between 1pm and 4pm at the Clubhouse.

If you are interested in other courses - we will help you look into them.

Benefits of eDCC Computer courses:

  • The courses are flexible and easy to follow.
  • There are no time limits.
  • At the end of the course you are presented with a recognised certificate.
  • There are no entry requirements.
  • The sessions are run in a relaxed informal environment, and on a one to one basis.
  • The courses build confidence and encourage students to progress.
  • The courses are free to members.
