The Fundraising Group are a group of staff and members that was started in June 2008. Our aim is to organise events that will raise money towards projects within the Clubhouse.

In Sept 2009 we did a sponsored cycle ride from Richmond to Hampton Court. All eight participants were brave enough to cycle the route dressed in tutus, glittery ties, fairy wings and face paint to attract attention! It was a really fun day and we managed to raise £605 !!
 
This year the Fundraising Group organised FIVE special events over 2 days.
These were:
- sponsored cycle ride in fancy dress! (up to 10 miles)
- sponsored walk (up to 5 miles)
- sponsored silence for 2 hours in fancy dress!
- 'charades' during which cakes made by members were sold
- home events - members making cakes!

All the events went really well and were alot of fun! The total amount raised was £516.79 !!
We have also been lucky enough to have some new flooring laid in the Clubhouse due to a kind donation from the local United Reform Church - thank you.

The fundraising group meet at the Clubhouse monthly, and it is a fun and vibrant group to be involved in. Since we started we have organised and held lots of fundraising events which have all been great fun and very successful!
