Men’s Group Relaunch – 23 March, 7pm-9pm
One of the many sayings in the world of mental health is “Men Don’t Talk”. This monthly group gives men that very platform in which to do just that!
For anyone who is seeking peer support from others in a safe, non-judgemental environment, then why not give it a try? Come and grab a tea or coffee, a friendly ear, and even a bacon sandwich or pizza! Our next meet up is on Monday 23 March, 7pm-9pm at 23, The Crescent, Leatherhead. You need to be registered with us to attend but you don’t need to book your place as it is a drop-in, so you can just turn up.
Mind the Gap – Young People Support Group
Here the onus is on the participants to shape and direct the running of the group and create a positive, safe and supportive environment where young adults can engage in various group activities and discussions.
The next group will be held on Thursday 26 March, 6.30pm – 8.30pm at our Leatherhead office. This group runs on the last Thursday of every month.
Creative Writing Course
Creative writing can be a very powerful way of expressing yourself and making sense of things that can often be hard to unpick even in our own minds. In our Creative Writing Course, starting on 20 March for six weeks, we aim to make it a fun way of reaching out and also learn new skills in writing. Our workshop, delivered by WEA, will help you to become more assertive, whilst recognising conflict, aggressive, assertive and passive behaviours, as well as allowing you to understand the reasons for non-assertive habits. Starting on 17 March for 3 weeks, from 1pm until 3.30pm at The Crescent. You can register your interest for this course online now, or contact John directly.
