This is predominantly a support role working alongside the Gym staff / coach, Wednesdays 10:30 to 11:30 AM. The volunteer ensures clients are welcomed and well received and acts as a recognised contact for attendees to go to, during the session. should they feel unwell or need additional support.
The role also includes taking a register of attendees and uploading that information onto an online form. Should anyone attending need additional support outside of the activity, then you would need to report that through to a member of MFT staff.
Based at a local community facility, this is a ‘low key’ role for someone seeking a regular opportunity to get involved and make a difference to people’s lives. You don’t need to be physically fit or enjoy sport to fulfil this role however you can take part in the activities if you would like.
