Is your school involved in The First Give project? We can help you!

For schools taking part in the social responsibility and citizenship project, First Give, let us help you when it comes to choosing a local charity to research.

In the last 4  years we’ve been involved in the First Give project on a number of occasions.  We’ve been invited in to local state and independent schools to talk about MFT and the work we do.  The First Give project is an excellent learning tool for school years 8-10 to learn about citizenship and social responsibility.

If your school is taking part in the programme and would like to know more about MFT, then please do contact us.  We can tell you about how our charity works, the history of our charity, how we support our Surrey community and the positive outcomes we have.  We can also help you with any marketing and design your students might need for the project, or help with some fundraising ideas and we can also help you with the presentation and presenting tips for the final judging day.

We’re proud to say that students at Therfield School in Leatherhead have twice won the end of project prize of £1,000 for MFT (in 2023 and 2026).  Congrats to them!

Please contact Biba, our fundraising officer, on biba@maryfrancestrust.org.uk for more information and to organise a date when she can come in and speak to your students.
