We rely on and always appreciate help from members of the public.

If you’d like to help us support more Surrey residents with their mental wellbeing, you can make a donation to us. A single donation will allow us to give an individual a way forward. A regular monthly donation will enable us to support someone throughout the year.

This is what your money would enable us to deliver:

    • £5

could help us put leaflets about our services in local community hotspots, helping someone to take the first step towards getting the support they need.

    • £10

could help fund an initial meeting with a qualified member of staff, and working together to define an action plan to restore and maintain their mental wellbeing.

    • £25

could help fund a facilitator for a peer support group, so anyone needing support can meet like-minded people with whom they can share their experience, strategies and journey.

    • £50

could help run a skill-building workshop on anxiety management, or a parenting workshop or an online cooking on a budget course - we offer a range of activities to support our Surrey community with the skills they need to look after their own wellbeing.

    • £100

could help us fund our work in co-production. Part of our strategy is to embed co-production in everything we do here at MFT. This approach will allow staff and people with lived experience to have an equal relationship when designing support activities, projects or services. It's an on-going process which we fully embrace.

  • Leave Mary Frances Trust a gift in your Will

If MFT has touched your life, or someone you care about, then please consider saying thank you by leaving us a gift in your Will.

By remembering Mary Frances Trust in your Will, you can help us support the mental health of future generations.  Your kindness could live on in the work we do every day to support those who need it in our community. Your kindness could give someone the chance to change their future. Your kindness could be part of your legacy.

If you already have a Will or decide to write a Will, you may want to look after your family and friends as well as leaving a gift to charities you care about. Speak to your solicitor to make a Will or make changes to your existing Will.  There are some established resources which can help you with leaving a charity a gift in your Will:

    • Did you know that Remember A Charity Week is every September?  This is an opportunity for everyone to take a moment to consider leaving a gift in their Will.  This year’s campaign runs from 8-14 September 2025. You can read more about it here.
    • Did you know that twice a year a selection of solicitors take part in Free Wills Month?  This takes place every March and October.  The scheme is for anyone aged 55 and over.  The idea is that by offering a free Will writing service, you may then leave a legacy in your Will to a charity you are passionate about.  You can read more about it here.

Every gift in a Will, large or small, makes a big difference.

We are available to talk to you in confidence about this sensitive subject. Please do contact biba@maryfrancestrust.org.uk
