She is now the Area Co-Ordinator for Banstead, Epsom & Ewell and sets up courses and activities for people using our services in this area.
Her responsibilities include breaking the stigma of mental health in ethnic communities and supporting them to engage in activities, courses and events. And as a result, helping individuals or groups to gradually overcome any emotional and physical wellbeing issues they are facing in their daily lives.
Parvin always tries to remain optimistic and positive to support her own emotional wellbeing. She practices mindfulness when she can. Supporting others in their journey is something that keeps her going. In her spare time, Parvin loves spending time with her family and going out to fancy restaurants. She engages in courses to develop her knowledge, skills and understanding. As she is passionate about helping people, she does a lot of voluntary work outside of MFT.
