World Mental Health Day 2026

Find out how your business can support us this World Mental Health Day 2026

Our Fundraising and Support Campaign

On Saturday 10 October 2026, we’re inviting businesses across Surrey to join us in recognising World Mental Health Day and showing that mental health matters.

Mary Frances Trust has been providing free mental health and emotional wellbeing support to Surrey residents since 1994. We’re proud to be there for people when they need understanding, support and someone to turn to.

By getting behind our campaign, your business can support the vital work of Mary Frances Trust while showing your employees that their mental health is taken seriously.

It’s a chance to raise awareness, encourage open conversations and help break down the stigma that can surround poor mental health.

Join us and show your staff, customers and community that mental health matters.

Make Mental Health Matter in Surrey

This year’s global theme for World Mental Health Day is “Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change.”

At Mary Frances Trust, we believe that listening to people’s experiences can be the first step towards meaningful change. When people are heard, understood and able to access the right support, lives can change.

Lived experience is at the heart of what we do. We employ people with their own experience of mental health challenges and work closely with our staff, volunteers and clients to co-produce our services, ensuring that the voices of the people we support help shape what we do.

Because real voices don’t just deserve to be heard – they deserve to make a difference.

Why we’re asking businesses to get involved

Mental health affects all of us. It touches the lives of our colleagues, customers, friends, families and communities. Yet for many people, getting the right mental health support can be difficult.

That’s where local charities like Mary Frances Trust make a real difference – providing free, accessible support to people across Surrey when they need it most.

Have a read of our Business Support Pack – packed with ideas and useful marketing resources to help your business get involved this World Mental Health Day.

Inside, you’ll also find a link to our special donation campaign, giving you the opportunity to directly support the work we do.

Together, we can raise awareness, start conversations and help more people get the support they need. Will you join us?

Megan joined MFT in January 2025 and looks after the development of our strategic priority for MFT to live and breathe co-production. Megan first learnt about co-production as a Lived Experience Advisor with the Independent Mental Health Network based at Surrey Coalition of Disabled People, contributing her own lived experience to mental health projects in Surrey and North East Hampshire after graduating university.

She has since worked on a range of development projects for Surrey’s mental health and wellbeing support, immersing community engagement and lived experience into research and decision-making. Additionally, she is an alumna for The King’s Fund after completing their Advanced Organisational Development Practitioner programme.
