After three highly successful years of delivery, the Financial & Wellbeing Support Service (FWSS) will conclude on 31 March 2026, following the end of its funded period. As a result, the service is no longer accepting new referrals.
Since its launch, FWSS has supported hundreds of individuals and families across Surrey, helping people to manage financial pressures and improve their overall wellbeing. The service has delivered meaningful, sustainable outcomes for clients, many of whom were experiencing complex challenges.
The programme was made possible through close collaboration with delivery partners Citizens Advice and Catalyst, and with funding from the National Lottery Community Fund. The funding enabled the service to operate over the past three years and partners have expressed sincere gratitude for the support that allowed FWSS to have such a significant impact.
Although the service will be coming to an end, support for individuals with complex needs remains available. Professionals are encouraged to continue referring clients to the Community Connections and Wellbeing Advice and Information services, which remain well placed to provide advice, guidance and ongoing support.
As FWSS enters its final phase, it leaves behind a strong legacy of partnership working and positive change for communities across Surrey.
