How to stay safe in face-to-face groups and appointments with us
  • How to stay safe in face-to-face groups and appointments with us

We know many people are keen to see one another again but we need to ensure that we keep everyone as safe as we can. These guidelines are here to help us to do that.

    What To Do Before

    One-to-one appointments

You should always book and only attend a one-to-one meeting if you have an appointment.

The day before your appointment we will contact you and ask you to cancel your appointment if you have any COVID symptoms.

For face-to-face activities, groups and courses

Please book your place in advance if you are planning to attend a group, course or activity in person, even if the activity has usually been a drop-in. Numbers will be limited according to room size, so we need to know who is coming.

Three days before the activity, we will send you a text reminder and ask you to cancel your place if you have any COVID symptoms.

    What To Do On Arrival

    Please sanitise your hands.

Please sign the register at the door.

An NHS QR code poster may be on display for you to scan for the Track & Trace app.

We will check your temperature with a no-contact thermometer and if your temperature is at 37.8C or above, we will ask you to wait and re-test.

If your temperature remains above 37.8C the second time, you will not be able to access the activity/appointment on that day.

What To Do During The Activity/Appointment

Although masks are not mandatory, we would ask you to wear one, especially if you need to move around the building.

Seating will be arranged to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Antiseptic wipes and sprays will be available, so tables and seating areas are kept clean.

Hand sanitisers will be provided in the room.

If tea or coffee or water is available, it will be in disposable cups.

Please wash your hands after using the toilet.

Windows will be kept open to allow free air flow. We advise you bring extra layers to keep warm.

If you have COVID symptoms, you can cancel your activity or appointment by contacting our office at, on 01372 375 400 or text 07929 024722 (SMS service only).
