To support Time to Talk Day on 3 February 2022, our Creative Writing Group led by Michele has come up with a series of wonderful and heartfelt pieces discussing mental health stigma.
This fourth piece is a poem written by Tilly.
“We are told we can’t work,
We are told to stop talking rubbish,
We are sat on when we can’t sit still,
To stop us running away,
It’s patronising it’s ironic,
But we do get better,
We are more than meds,
We are more than a diagnosis,
We are worth it.”
