We’re delighted to announce that Rosebery Housing Association, a charitable registered society which owns and manages more than 2,300 social affordable homes across Surrey and West Sussex have picked us as their corporate charity to support in 2020!
The decision was put to their staff who voted for Mary Frances Trust as their preferred charity.
Richard Deeks, Head of Marketing, Communications and Corporate Resources says: “At Rosebery, we like to work with and support local organisations. Mary Frances Trust and their work resonates strongly with us and reflects our vision, to make a positive difference to people’s lives.”
Rosebery Housing Association develops and manages a variety of affordable housing, offering a range of homes to those who find the open market beyond their reach; affordable homes for families and individuals on low incomes, temporary accommodation for those in housing need and shared ownership – a part buy, part rent product for those who aspire to home ownership. The focus of their property portfolio is in Epsom & Ewell, where they own three-quarters of all affordable housing. They’re proud to be a local business that creates sustainable communities by forging strong local partnerships, working closely with residents and communities.
Patrick Wolter, CEO, Mary Frances Trust says: “We feel very fortunate to have been chosen by Rosebery Housing Association to be their corporate charity for this year. We’re proud to be associated with another fantastic charitable organisation whose aim is to support people in Surrey and beyond, to lead fulfilling lives without discrimination. We look forward to working alongside them so we can support even more local residents with their mental wellbeing as well as raise awareness of the importance of looking after oneself.”
The staff at Rosebery Housing Association will carry out some fundraising activities throughout the year on behalf of Mary Frances Trust. The money raised will be reinvested directly into our services so we can reach even more adults in Surrey in need of mental and emotional health support.
Mary Frances Trust first got in contact with Rosebery Housing Association by providing Pilates classes for their staff. Through this new corporate partnership, we plan to run further mental health-related workshops as well as information events so their staff and tenants can learn more about what we offer and how we might be able to support them.
