Media & Marketing Support Volunteer (Epsom)

Working closely with our staff and admin support volunteer at our Epsom office, this role will support the entire Community Connections team through the production of various media and marketing materials on various websites and online platforms.  This will be a rewarding role for someone seeking a regular opportunity once a week or fortnightly.  No previous experience necessary.  Good people skills, attention to detail, consistency of approach, common sense and the ability to get alongside others is essential.  We seek someone looking for a more medium to long term involvement.

Key Points

• Weekly or fortnightly involvement
• Tuesdays or Fridays 10:00 to 16:00
• Epsom (Brickfield Centre)
• Medium to long term involvement (9-12 months plus)
• Some experience welcome but not essential

What we ask of the Support Volunteer
Support our staff to promote our services on the Surrey Wellbeing platform and other websites and platforms, including Surrey Matters and Borough Insight, and to produce various media and marketing materials i.e., Leaflets, Posters etc using online CANVA software and to update our internal weekly calendar spreadsheet.

• Learn specific software applicable to the role
• Support and assist staff media requirements as and when required
• Respect the need for personal & professional boundaries with clients
• Report any safeguarding concerns to staff in a timely manner to ensure clients are able to access the support they need

Please note:  You do not need to have any previous volunteer experience to volunteer for this role although the ability to get on with people and communicate well with others is key.
