On 26 September 2022, we held our 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM) face-to-face again, the first time since the pandemic! We’d like to thank everyone who joined us on the day, registered as Members, and took part in the voting and Q&A sessions. It was so lovely to see you all so engaged and interested in what we do.
For those who were unable to join us, we’d like to recap on what was covered. Members of Mary Frances Trust voted to approve the following:
We also heard from a series of wonderful guest speakers about the importance of lived experience and co-production, including Colette Lane, Senior PICT Trainer with Lived Experience, from Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SABP).
Faith and Lily (our SUN Facilitators with Lived Experience) talked about how we involve their lived experience at service level. You can re-watch Lily’s video below:
You can also download Lily’s video script.
Jan (our Co-Production & Community Engagement Worker), Keri and Mark (our Advisory Group members) explained the work of the Advisory Group and how they influence what we do at operational and strategic level.
Elle Seline, Team Administrator at Catalyst Support & Mental Health Champion alongside Megan Aspel from End Stigma Surrey highlighted how we can use our mental health journeys for campaigning purposes to break stigma, bring awareness and educate people.
And finally, Patrick our CEO, unveiled our new draft strategic priorities which we developed in co-production with staff, Trustees and the Advisory Group.
