There is a new Chess Group starting on Thursday 13 February at the Joseph Palmer Centre. Chess is proven to improve memory, creativity and problem-solving skills in adults so lots of reasons to come along!
A professional teacher will be on hand to help you learn the art of the game or improve your existing skills. The group will run from 1pm until 2.30pm. Due to a high interest in the group, please contact us ASAP to book a place as places will fill up fast.
Are you finding it difficult to work out how to use your computer, tablet or Ipad? Would you like some help with understanding how to send an email, use social media, your Microsoft package or something else?
We have FREE 1-2-1 Computer lessons to help you learn and feel more comfortable when using your device. Lessons are held every other Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm – please bring your own device. You can contact Michael on 07961 478 625 to register your place.
Our Friday Crafts Group are starting a new model making project. The group will be cutting, painting and modelling cardboard to create a town which will have various buildings, trees, cars, people etc – all made from cardboard!
The group meets every Friday from 2pm until 3pm. This is a small and friendly group welcoming everyone. You can join in the model-making or come along for support if you prefer to chat. Contact Michael from more information.
