We wanted to share this beautiful poem composed by our client Elaine, who wrote it as part of our Assertiveness Course to help herself learn to say “no” more often.

Two small letters

That’s all it is

Those two letters

Can feel so big

One little word is

All I need to say

That small word

From me never heard

Two small letters

With so much power

Choose with care

The when and the hour

This one little word

Has so much meaning

Use it wisely

And not too freely.
