Dear All,
As another year draws to its close and I reflect on all that has happened this year, I am struck yet again by how lucky I am to be part of the wonderful organisation which is MFT. Yes, it has been another difficult year, but it brought many new opportunities, new partnerships, and overall progress, making our organisation even stronger.
One main theme that has become even clearer is that MFT is not just a standalone organisation. We are an integral part of a wider system and our bigger community. I am overwhelmed by the unquestionable strength and character of this community.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my colleagues – staff, volunteers and Trustees – for their resilience, their hard work and throwing themselves into any new challenge that was presented to them to ensure we support our clients to the very best of our abilities. I’d like to thank every single one of them for their selflessness and commitment to tirelessly serving our mission and vision.
My thanks also go to all of our partners and supporters, who made our work even more meaningful, far-reaching and comprehensive. And last but not least – our clients and people using our services. You are the motor to all our actions. Your gratitude and encouragement are simply the most powerful affirmation to the entire MFT team.
The holiday season can be a beautiful time but it can also bring a lot of difficult emotions. We know that and have arranged some holiday activities to keep supporting you. Our December 2021 newsletter is also full of information, advice and guidance to help you navigate the festive period.
I would like to wish you all good and peaceful celebrations and a healthy and fulfilling year 2022.
