Do you care passionately about mental health and emotional wellbeing? Do you wish to make a difference using your skills and/or lived experience for greater good? Do you want to support a local charity to improve the wellbeing of Surrey residents? Whatever your reason, you should consider becoming a volunteer Trustee at Mary Frances Trust!
We’re looking to recruit two volunteer Trustees to join our Board. Trustees are ultimately responsible for the overall running of the charity, ensuring that the best interests of the community we serve are always at the heart of our decisions. At MFT that means ensuring that everything we do, and the way in which we do it, is geared towards supporting those who are experiencing mental health issues, working with them to enable them to improve their confidence and self-esteem and live fulfilling lives.
We’re particularly keen to recruit Trustees with experience of working in mental health, ideally clinically; co-production; equality, diversity and inclusion; information governance or human resource management. An understanding of public policy, NHS and local government and statutory bodies would also be helpful. We recognise that these skills can be developed through a range of different experiences and it is not necessary to have previous experience as a Trustee to apply.
